Hey, what’s Kanme reading?

Wednesday 02/04/2026

Sorry for the delay everyone, I was bogged down with work and also not feeling to well the entire week. I’m back with comics for you to read!

What’s Kanme reading? Posted every Wednesday Team Kanme Creatives team is here to get you over the weekday blues because we all  love comics! It’s true! And we really love Indie comics. Indies offer the most diverse and fearless storytelling among comics, why? Because we can! We are always inspired by the community around us and we want to start recognizing the comics we love to read.

Every week we’re going to recommend comics we are reading to you.

Our first recommendation from the Team Kanme is:

Limited Creator : Thatboijohnny

Limited

What we know: 10 years ago ‘God’ made his appearance and announced Heaven is now locked away for most of humanity unless you have the a ‘ticket’ into heaven. Now two siblings play a death game to get 2 of 5 slots available a year. Now will they both successfully win their way into heaven?…

What we love: This comic has one of the most interesting and unique stories out there. Would you kill to get into Heaven? WOW! I wasn’t sure about what I was experiencing but it’s got a good hook and a plot that keeps you reading! This Thriller will keep you on the edge of your seat. Updates regularly and there’s plenty to read on WT!

The Navigator Creator : Ultraokay Comic

The Navigator

What we know: Nathan North, also known as The Navigator, is a superhero and adventurer. Along with his friends, he embarks on thrilling adventures across the Earth and throughout the universe.

What we love: This was a fun read, I enjoyed the quirky take on Superhero comics and while the art can use some improvement, I just had a good time reading it! Check it out on GlobalComix.

Gorilla Joe Creator: Gorilla Joe

Gorilla Joe

What we know: Gorilla Joe, superstar circus performer, is about to get a new job – Big City’s big hero, leader of outcast circus performers called the Odds. New jobs come with new challenges, and Gorilla Joe faces off against fake knights, and shadowy strangers who have come to town to take him down.

What we love: I loved everything about Gorilla Joe; it had a classic comic feel while also updated for the age. Of scrolling comics. Great art, storytelling reminiscent of classic 1930’s 40’s comics.  This was a treat to read on WT!

Concordia Creator : Witchy Lealin Art

Concordia

What we know: In a world on the brink of collapse, two champions rise – each sworn to save it in their own way. Croen – a servant of Death, preserves the last flickers of fading magic, believing it to be the key to the world’s survival. Ancell – an inquisitor, hunts magic to its final ember, convinced it’s the very poison draining life from the world. Two paths. One goal. Their meeting is not the end—it’s where everything truly begins.

What we love: I found this comic scrolling through Weekly Editor’s choice on NamiComi and I really thought it was a cool concept and a well done comic. Quite a nice little treasure to be found. You can  follow on NamiComi!
