What’s Kanme reading? Posted every Wednesday Team Kanme Creatives team is here to get you over the weekday blues because we all love comics! It’s true! And we really love Indie comics. Indies offer the most diverse and fearless storytelling among comics, why? Because we can! We are always inspired by the community around us and we want to start recognising the comics we love to read.
Every week we’re going to recommend comics we are reading to you.
Our first recommendation from the Team Kanme is:
Change Your fate Creator: L.Mampel
What we know : Nia is not having her best day: her boyfriend breaks up with her, she ends up alone in a foreign country, and the concert of her favorite band—the one she had been so excited to attend—is canceled due to the death of Noah, its vocalist! Devastated, Nia wishes she could go back and start over… and her wish comes true! But that’s not all… she ends up in the same class as Noah! Will Nia be able to change the fate of her favorite singer?
What we love: If you had to relive your high school years to change your life, would you? Personally, I’d wake up screaming NOOOOO! High school was definitely not my favorite place. But this cute comic has a gripping opening episode that puts it all into perspective by showing that a single wish can change far more than just your own life. It is clever, wonderfully drawn, and webtooners! It’s criminally underrated so head over to Webtoon and read it ! Let’s get this creator the subscribers they deserve!
Upside Down Creator: Rad Comix
What we know : It’s been three years since the Flip – the day when Earth’s gravity turned upside down. The ceiling is now the floor, people can’t step outside for fear of falling into the sky, and everyone is left obsessing over the same questions: How did this happen? Why is it only affecting humans? And is there any way we can go back? Upside Down is an ongoing, black and white, indie comic book that takes you on an imaginative journey through a world unlike any you’ve seen before! Join the Gravpunk adventure and get flipped!
What we love : This comic is an absolute trip! The world literally flips upside down, and the artist handled the perspective shifts perfectly. It actually made me a little dizzy while reading, but the experience was well worth it. It is a fascinating, truly unique indie comic that deserves a ton of support. You can read it on GlobalComix. Vengeance of Illaverse’s Diamonds Creator: Momo Doomoira
What we know : Haunted by her lost childhood memories, Wanda Gilderoy had always been a cold yet curious person. After moving house with her family, she learns about a quite famous affair going on in town, which evolves around a newly-built housing estate. Many people got their rent rejected, including Wanda’s family and a new acquaintance of theirs. Wanda decides to find out why, but little she knows that this seemingly small investigation will make her uncover something much darker…
What we love: Our webtoon readers should check out this fantastic little supernatural mystery comic. It features a unique art style and a mysterious storyline. While it could use a few minor tweaks here and there, overall, the Creator is doing an amazing job. Let’s help this talented creator reach their milestone of 500 subscribers—go subscribe on WT today!

What we know : If you can control the will of what the gods want, how far will you go? Join the journey of Suki to unravel the mystery of life in a mind bending shonen manga series.
What we love : If you love surreal storytelling, you need to check this comic out. This manga is freaky, cool, action-packed, and beautifully drawn. It has tons of pages, making it incredibly easy to binge and get lost in it’s world. I read it on NamiComi!
