Indies offer the most diverse and fearless storytelling among comics, why? Because we can! We are always inspired by the community around us and we want to start recognizing the comics we love to read.

Seraphin Creator: Littleblubirb
What we know: One night, Ves is abruptly killed. After his untimely death, Ves finds himself in Elysian, home to the Seraphin, angels that have been tasked to fight against corrupted souls that attack the Living World. Ves joins Nyx and the others in fighting these “Corruptions”. But is there more to the Corruptions than they think? New Chapter every Monday @ 6PM M
What we love: I checked out this comic recommendation from a fellow creator on a Discord server for Comic Creators, and I’m completely hooked! The story hits that perfect sweet spot between dark monster horror and emotional drama. On top of that, the artistic choice to blend some color within black-and-white panels is brilliant. They are so close to their first milestones! let’s help them reach 200 subscribers on Webtoon!
Krimson Reign Creator: Jackson Street Comics
What we know: Krimson Reign is more than a comic book. It is a story about representation, hope, family, and the power of being a good person even when the world gives you every reason not to be. Through Kairo’s journey, we want readers, especially young Black readers, to see themselves as heroes, leaders, kings, and queens. At its heart, Krimson Reign shows that true strength is not just about power. It is about protecting others, standing for what is right, and never losing your humanity.
What we love: This all-ages superhero comic recently debuted on GlobalComix Free with Gold from an emerging Black-owned publisher. Backed by a strong creative team, it delivers an excellent story and pro artwork from start to finish, and it looks like issue 2 is on the way! I read it with my GlobalComix Gold subscription!
I got a bullet with your name on it Creator: Paraclownia
What we know: Follow the story of Minvera, and her troubles with her fellows in Wastan and so on..
What we love: I love how delightfully strange and fun this comic is! It’s creative as hell, and the creator uses it as practice, so you will literally get to watch them improve as you read. Check it out on Wt and sub!
Sepia Melody Creator: Pani
What we know: Eugene suddenly appears in Daisy’s life one unexpected day. As they grow up together in a world filled with laughter and the quiet rhythm of ordinary days, they become close like real siblings. But beneath their peaceful world lies some unspeakable evil act rooted in both of their families’ past. As secrets surface and relationships are tested, they must navigate heartbreak, betrayal, and the fragile hope that love—true love—can still survive. A beautiful and haunting tale of true love.
What we love: This comic was featured on NamiComi’s Weekly Editor’s Choice list, and it’s easy to see why. The artwork is excellent, and the story builds a quiet sense of mystery and drama slowly simmering that leaves you eager for more. I’ve read the available episodes on NamiComi and hope to see new ones soon. Check it out on NamiComi!
Primal Veil Creator: Snb
What we know: As old as time, people have learned to tap into their instincts by breaking the PRIMAL VEIL. Those who awakened this power became known as Primal Beasts. Running from his past, Geno only wanted a new beginning. But the ghosts he left behind continue to haunt him. Now, to pursue freedom, he must do whatever it takes.
What we love: This is a fantastic, well-crafted comic I discovered on Inkstra. The artwork is outstanding, and the story is fun, original, and sprinkled with just enough drama. If you enjoy black-and-white manga, this one is worth checking out! Get an Inkstra account, it’s worth it!
