Hey, what’s Kanme reading?
Wednesday 10/21/2026
It’s a short one again this week! Between work and being sick I got behind again.
Hopefully I’ll be back on course with more comics next week!
What’s Kanme reading? Posted every Wednesday Team Kanme Creatives team is here to get you over the weekday blues because we all love comics! It’s true! And we really love Indie comics. Indies offer the most diverse and fearless storytelling among comics, why? Because we can! We are always inspired by the community around us and we want to start recognizing the comics we love to read
Every week we’re going to recommend comics we are reading to you.
Tournament of WAR Creator: The Hermetic Monk
What we know: The Avatar of War gathers the greatest warriors and generals from throughout history, from ancient Romans to WWII soldiers, to host a grand Tournament of War to determine who is the deadliest in history.
What we love: I found this to be a fun comic, a true Cult Classic in the making. Throwing together the great Generals, Leaders and War powers together to see who can defeat who has a ton of Promise, While I didn’t see him yet I can only imagine what happens when Napoleon finally makes the scene! Great art, a fun story with a really engaging concept. Check it out on WT get it some subs!!
When the Sea calls him home Creator: Sospirare
What we know: An unexpected friendship forms when Ivo, a mage’s apprentice, meets René, the young Prince who is haunted by strange magic. How will their relationship develop as years pass and they search for answers to questions from their past?
What we love: This is a beautifully written and crafted comic, with it’s delicate line art and elegant soft colors. It’s gorgeous. It’s one of the most visually stunning comics I’ve read, an absolute treat for the eyes that I discovered on Comic Fury!
Thanks for reading!!
