What’s Happening in Kanme Studios (5/5/2023)

Hey all Yam here, April was a busy as heckem month. At one point we had 5 comics running on this site, a dream come true imo. Anyway here is your monthly update on all things Kanme Studios! First and foremost Studio related news. I have been working on the business side of Kanme Studios. I’ve worked with Melencia Comics, one of our partnered artists, to create Chibi stickers of all the street fighter 6 characters. They turned out well and I’ll highlight them in a different post sometime this week. The Studio’s social media saw growth across all major social medias, which is a great thing. Our youtube channel recently broke 100 subscribers which is a big step forward in our video goals. I have to thank my cats for the extra boosts in subs, they’ll get a treat for their great work. Hey all, welcome and thank you for reading our 3rd Kanme Studios Spotlight. This month we will spotlight Christopher Curtis, Raineyellow, & Melancia Comics. Chrisopher Curtis I’m a manga writer out of Indianapolis, IN and creator of JAZZ: Juggernauts Against Zealous Zealots! When I’m not writing I’m normally either plugging away at the myriad of half-started JRPGS on my Xbox or reading Sakamoto Days! My manga is about 5 rebels who are tasked to solve the mystery of seemingly random monster-spawning portals over their city that has instigated a Government cover-up in the process. Release date of Black Ice Announced!

The release date of Black Ice has been announced. Katztz announced on the Black Ice Instagram that the comic will release on Monday March 27th, so mark those calendars. Black Ice will be joining Janto Kanme and Boom Shaka in our weekly line up of comics! So you definitely want to keep your eyes on our site so you don’t miss anything!

Hey all, today we will spotlight one of our newest comics coming out soon, Black Ice. Katztz has worked with the talented Chairim to bring a unique story about ladies of the ice and their trials, tribulations and the sacrifices one makes to go for gold. It’s a well-crafted story with wonderful art, coloring, visuals and storytelling. Readers will witness the beauty and rawness of women’s competitive figure skating in a way that hasn’t been told before.
