Blog update 9/17 – What we are working on & Anime USA Panel!

Hey all. Thought we update the site with some happenings.

First off, we are working on Boom Shaka. We’ve drafted at least 11 pages and most of our OC tier people have responded back. Once we have all those ducks in the row we will continue writing the story. Alan is also working on a new image featuring all the characters we’ve introduced so far in Boom Shaka, it’ll be holographic, and it’ll be awesome!

There isn’t much to update regarding Janto Kanme. It’s still in a hiatus as we address Boom Shaka first and foremost. We do have a fanzine of the characters we will be putting on the site for free. This zine was made by many different artists and we hope to share the fruits of their work with you all!.

Black Ice, our newest comic written by Katztz, is progressing along smoothly. Hopefully they’ll be able to wrap up the comic soon and we’ll be introducing what it is on our site and social media.

Luna Tide last batch of pages are being reviewed and are in the final stages of the editing process before Feli, Luna Tide’s current artist, draws those pages out. I am honestly glad the comic is back in some form and we are looking forward to its return!

Lastly, as you can see by the image below, the team will be at Anime USA (follow link for more info) hosting a panel called How to How to Create and Organize a Web Comic Idea. We invite you to join us if you’re going to that convention. It is a local anime convenstion for us and this will be our first of these panels. Kanme Studios is going to be hitting to road in the future so we may be in a town nearby you!
