Weekly Blog #1

Hey all Yam here! Today I start using this blog to put up my thoughts, the status of work in progress and any news related to Kanme Studios. I’ll start this by saying there are only two pages left of Boom Shaka! It’s crazy that the prologue and chapter 1 are almost done. Don’t you fret because we are working on chapter 2 and speaking of that we have a 6 page preview of it in the deluxe edition of Boom Shaka. Visit our gumroad store, nudge nudge. We’ve also been working on a new comic which we should be releasing news and preview images soon. It’s a very near and dear story to me so I can’t wait to debut it to you all. Fan related comics are something I’ve always wanted to do for a while. Original work is great but sometimes it’s great to do fan related content. For my first fan related comic I wanted to do one of my personal favorite manga/anime series Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. Meet Us @ Katsucon 2018!

That’s right! We will not have a booth, but we will be there–Katsucon, Washington DC! One of our favorite anime/manga conventions in the District. Our editor, Nemo, works with Katsucon execs annually and he’s brought us all with him this year. Find us wandering the Artist’s Galley, at comic-related panels, and the food court 😉 We like to be anonymous here, so no identifying pictures of us will be found on the site, but you can recognize us as those crazy kids handing out postcards of the Luna Tide cover image!
