Fan related comics are something I’ve always wanted to do for a while. Original work is great but sometimes it’s great to do fan related content. For my first fan related comic I wanted to do one of my personal favorite manga/anime series Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. I hope you enjoy it and be sure to expect of more these fan related comics in the future on our website.

Meet Us @ Katsucon 2018!

That’s right! We will not have a booth, but we will be there–Katsucon, Washington DC! One of our favorite anime/manga conventions in the District. Our editor, Nemo, works with Katsucon execs annually and he’s brought us all with him this year. Find us wandering the Artist’s Galley, at comic-related panels, and the food court 😉 We like to be anonymous here, so no identifying pictures of us will be found on the site, but you can recognize us as those crazy kids handing out postcards of the Luna Tide cover image! Come talk to us and we’ll give you one too. First of all, if you’re reading this, thank you. You’re already a fan, or at the least, you’ve chosen to take notice of us. Kanme Studios is a cooperative creative studio of five recent grads, out of the Washington, D.C area: Yam, our creator; Nemo, our editor; Chuu, our artist; Katztz, our graphic editor & marketing lead; and Uso, our chief graphic designer. Creating these narratives our readers take joy from is truly what keeps us going; we still work for free, with all money received directly funding our comics, not our lives. We get together after work 1-2 times a week, some weekends, and brainstorm over pupusas and hot tea at Nemo’s house! ^-^ If you enjoy our comic and would like a shout-out to your work and social media profiles, send us some fan art! We post all fanart under that heading fully crediting the artist in whichever way you specify.
