Hello all, I am recovering from burn-out from my night job, I was able to review a couple of comics, I have some more time off this week to hopefully get me mentally and physically back on track. Thanks for reading!
What’s Kanme reading? Posted every Wednesday Team Kanme Creatives team is here to get you over the weekday blues because we all love comics! It’s true! And we really love Indie comics. Indies offer the most diverse and fearless storytelling among comics, why? Because we can! We are always inspired by the community around us and we want to start recognizing the comics we love to read.

Our first recommendation from the Team Kanme is:

What we know: Ji-han became a delivery driver to escape his family’s suffocating expectations. He wanted to stay hidden, but a chance encounter with college student Yeo-reum on a summer afternoon cracks his isolation. What starts as a simple favor grows into late replies, awkward talks, and unsaid feelings. But peace is fragile. When a menacing shadow from his old life appears on his routes, reality hits. Can someone truly move forward when the past they left behind keeps finding its way back?
What we love: This is such a lovely, beautifully crafted comic. The art is polished and full of warmth, and there’s a sweet romance beginning to bloom. I read it on Webtoon, and it truly deserves more subscribers!

What we know: Merisma is left in a state of decay after The Crash – a devastating cataclysm that occurred shortly after the technological singularity, leaving most of the world’s electronics unusable. Monstrous creatures called Vaunts run rampant, terrorizing the populace. The year is 2061, and the world has been thrust back into the dark ages. Fei is an airheaded adventurer who has always wanted to explore the world. Lilia is a no-nonsense vaunt exterminator who could use some company. When the two cross paths in an abandoned building, it seems like a match made in heaven. But there may be more to their bond than meets the eye…
What we love: I really enjoyed this quirky little comic. The art is fantastic, and the story is engaging enough to keep you reading episode after episode. I read it on GlobalComix! Head over and put it on your shelf!
