What’s Kanme reading? Posted every Wednesday Team Kanme Creatives team is here to get you over the weekday blues because we all love comics! It’s true! And we really love Indie comics. Indies offer the most diverse and fearless storytelling among comics, why? Because we can! We are always inspired by the community around us and we want to start recognizing the comics we love to read.
Every week we’re going to recommend comics we are reading to you.
Our first recommendation from the Team Kanme is:
Sweetland Creator : Cacophony
What we know : Mallow the Marshmallow starts her journey through Sweetland, from the Green hills of Mint to the pink meadows of Macarons.
What we love : I have a big sweet tooth, and sadly cannot eat sugar, however with Sweetland my sweet tooth is satisfied with this cute and tasty desert inspired comic! The art is like a video game, and very well done. I think you’ll heart will melt like marshmallows in hot coco while reading Sweetland . Head over to WT and sub to this little treat!
My Beautiful Galaxy Creator : Niceannoying
What we know : In a world where the Stars, Planets, and heavenly bodies are in a physical humanoid form, in a tale filled with plenty of sarcastic and exciting adventures. Earth, a student at Milky Way high has a problem, he’s infected by the dreaded Human Virus and the cure just might be the end of him.
What we love : This clever comic is highly enjoyable. Little sister Moon is a unique character as her hair shows what phase she is in, and in these phases she has different personalities and cannot recall what happened in the phases. It’s a silly, but also a good looking comic, well written and with a great manga art style. I read it on NamiComi.
The Witches Stone Creator : Hobbish
What we know : This competed comic, is the story of Lina, a young witch with unique abilities. When she leaves home to study in a new city she finds herself surrounded by new people and dark secrets.
What we love : It’s a fantastic witchy comic with beautiful art and I’m just getting into the story and it’s already very captivating and quite Spooky! You can read it on universe!
Alpha Shift Creator : Melonpaperweight
What We Know : Fenrik’s writing team is in shambles, he’s stressed out and on the verge of losing his job. Robin, new to the city is also the new boss in town. Join the fox and the hound as they team up at Goose Liver Studios as they try to bring the next title in the Cardinal Sin franchise to success without falling head-first into feelings.
What we love: I started the series on Nami Comi from the beginning. The artstyle is great, and the story well done and is easy to follow, and get into right away, not bumps here, perfect start. If you like Furry Guys who fall in love head over the check it out on NamiComi !
