What’s Kanme reading? Posted every Wednesday Team Kanme Creatives team is here to get you over the weekday blues because we all love comics! It’s true! And we really love Indie comics. Indies offer the most diverse and fearless storytelling among comics, why? Because we can! We are always inspired by the community around us and we want to start recognizing the comics we love to read.
Every week we’re going to recommend comics we are reading to you.
This month is all about Horror and Halloween comics! Happy Spooky Month!
Our first recommendation from the Team Kanme is:
The Magic Forest Creator : Magic Forest
What we know: A horror comedy series about a Park Ranger who doesn’t realize he is being trained to be a Wizard by his Park Ranger boss.
What we love : I was reading this on Reddit and then realized it was on GC. The clueless slacker Park Ranger is funny, and I really love the Zombie who is just seems like the nicest zombie ever. It’s classic cartooning spooky and yet cute? I really love reading this comic, I can’t wait to see more adventures. It’s good for older kids and teens too. You can check it out on GlobalComix.
The Promising Lands Creator : warriorfromthevalley
What we know : Mysteries are common occurrences in the void. Joyeuse hopes one of them will provide some sense of reason.
What we love : I’ve seen this comic promoted on reddit several times and found it on inkverse. It’s a Supernatural Sci-fi drama. It unfolds as a ship’s logs of a being searching planets for life. It draws you in, you don’t know where it’s heading, and it captures
the dark frightening isolation of space. It was a Surprise find, take a chance and check it out!
Haunted Inheritance Creator : Nol
What we know: Marisol has always been enthralled by her grandmother’s curanderisma. However, during her 15th year, strange events being to unfold, and Marisol finds herself recalling haunting memories. As she delves deeper into her family’s past, the lines between reality and myth blur, leading her on a journey to uncover the secrets of her Haunted Inheritance.
What we love : Recommended on twitter, this horror comic immediately struck a cord with me. The first part just posted, and the art is outstanding and spooky. The story is mysterious. Please add this to your library on the GlobalComix app! Updates monthly

Moult Creator : Alice
What we know : Trinh Hai Lam – a reserved and detached highschooler was in complete shock when he met another schoolmate who dressed and behaved in the exact same way as his class monitor and crush. His guts told him that something was not right as chaos started to occur in that very school.
What we love: Another mysterious story added to our list, one that draws the reader in and the art is a very unique style. So much good stuff and easy to binge read because you’ll be hooked. Read for free on the NamiComi app!
