What’s Kanme reading? Posted every Wednesday Team Kanme Creatives team is here to get you over the weekday blues because we all love comics! It’s true! And we really love Indie comics. Indies offer the most diverse and fearless storytelling among comics, why? Because we can! We are always inspired by the community around us and we want to start recognizing the comics we love to read.
Every week we’re going to recommend comics we are reading to you.
Our first recommendation from the Team Kanme is:
The Fandango Creator : Rock Man
What we know : In a world shrouded in mystery, a Frog-man enters a graveyard to visit a friend who died one year prior. Standing in front of the gravestone, The Frog-Man thinks about all the Debt he got from this friend. But his thoughts were interrupted by his friend’s voice. Their fantastic story begins as they witness the strange, weird, and Mysterious world of the fandango!
What we love: This is a wild comic, weird and wonderful! Well executed like an acid trip but with a cohesive story. It’s too good for Webtoon this should be everywhere, but speaking of WT you can sub there!!
JETX Creator : Chaotic Comix
What we know : Join Jet Stream, the teenage speedster, and his allies, Katrina and Leon, as they race to stop the sinister roboticist Malicious Fingers. Pursuing 6 magical minerals from the dinosaur-extincting meteorite, they clash repeatedly, forming an epic saga of courage and determination against evil. Embark on a thrilling journey of ongoing battles and triumphs in their mission to thwart Malicious’ relentless ambitions!
What we love: Reading this comic was quite fun, it reminds me of a vivid Saturday morning cartoon full of action, video game style art. There’s 6 completed chapters on NamiComi for you to check out!
Amidst The Madness! Creator : emaeye
What we know : Sophie is a very professional content creator (or so she claims). She goes to meet anyone who has had strange experiences, including crimes, madness, sacrifices, ghosts , and many more bizarre stories. If you’re a fan of these topics, then this show is for you.
What we love: This dark story of a mother’s madness and loss combined with the crazy weirdness of the Sophie character was a wild ride, I binge read the whole thing. English is the Creator’s so you can forgive any typos, because the story is so haunting! Sub on Webtoon!
This Is The End Creator: Ugo Yak
What we know : Follow the misadventures of a friendly and dorky guide from the afterlife in his daily affairs. Available in English and Spanish.
What we love: I started reading this on Reddit and was excited to see it on NamiComi! This quirky comic about the afterlife journey of spirits and ichor in a land full of Gods and Monsters has you on edge while also being really funny too. You can read on NamiComi!
